What is Erin's Law?

Erin's Law was created by Erin Merryn, a sexual assault survivor, author, speaker, and activist. Erin's Law requires that public schools implement a prevention-based child sexual abuse program that teaches kids re-school through high school about how to recognize, report, and respond to sexual assault..
Connecticut--> Erin's Law was adopted into Connecticut law that requires public schools to teach age-appropriate sexual assault prevention education to students in grades K-12.

How we can help your school

Many young people today lack models of healthy relationships. A recent Child Trends survey of disadvantaged youth reported that while respondents could list general qualities for healthy relationships, when asked if they saw many around them, they said, “No.” More sadly, they said they had little confidence they would be able to achieve a healthy relationship despite their aspirations to develop one. Empowering Tomorrow Foundation utilizes the following curriculum from the Dibble Institute to change this growing trend.
